There comes a time in every Wordpress user's life when you'd like to get more out of the software. Customize it, and make it your own. Sure, there are literally thousands of plugins to help you along this path, but in the end, they were designed by someone else, and they can only do so much.

To take an incredibly powerful platform like Wordpress and be able to customize it so that it functions exactly how you want is priceless. Think about how much easier life would be if today you decide you'd like your blog to do something, and tomorrow you could make it happen yourself. No endless searches for plugins that may or may not be perfect for you. Start creating your own solutions to your problems, and maybe you can even release some tips or plugins of your own to give back to the community; I know I'm happy to do as much as I wouldn't have learned so much about WordPress had it not been for the incredible support of the millions of it's users out there.

So this is my effort to offer something in return. This is my effort to solve problems and answer questions so that you can make Wordpress do whatever you want it to. Whether that be something as simple as tweaking the design to something as complex as designing and releasing your own plugins, my goal with this blog is to make the learning process as simple and easy as possible.
